My Go-To Green Smoothie

This green smoothie is packed with nutrients like Magnesium, healthy fats, and dietary fiber. It's also perfect to cool you off on a hot summer's day or replenish you post-workout. Give it a go!

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 handful spinach or kale
  • small bunch cilantro
  • small bunch parsley
  • 1/2 avocado
  • juice from 1/2 a lemon
  • 1 tbsp soaked chia seeds*
  • 1 c coconut milk
  • water or ice to thin or thicken

directions

In a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients (except chia seed) and blend on high for 30 sec-1 min. If consistency is too thin, add ice. If consistency is too thick, add water. Pour into glass and add in soaked chia seed* Enjoy!

*Chia seed is great for digestion when soaked. They form a gel-like substance which helps "smooth" out your digestive system.
