a 20-something chips + salsa connoisseur with a love for green smoothies + good eyebrows
I'm Cass - blogger, marketing nerd, consultant, and community builder based in beautiful Bozeman, Montana.
My journey all started in 2013, which was the best and worst year of my life. I graduated from WSU, dropped that awful college weight, landed the sports job of my dreams, and finally found my healthy and happy. Then, my dad died.
My life in that moment, changed forever. I quit my job, moved home, traveled the country, and started to reevaluate the reason why I was put on this earth.
After some major soul searching, I decided to pursue a career in health and wellness by becoming an ACE certified personal trainer and holistic health coach from The Institute of Transformational Nutrition.
The Wellness Rookie evolved shortly after as an emotional outlet for me surrounding the loss of my father. Sharing my journey and practical outlook on health became my passion as I soon realized the definite need for real and relatable advice from a real and relatable person.
So that's me. I've never had a 6-pack, I don't eat kale everyday, I can't do a pull-up, and I have no idea where to find half of the ingredients Gwyneth Paltrow talks about...
But what I do know is how important one's mental, physical and spiritual health is to their overall well-being and quality of life. So that’s why I’m here - to give the rookie advice you need, from the wellness expert you can relate to.
So thank you for stopping by!
